Congratulations to the Fifth Grade Students. They beat the teachers in the annual Teacher vs. 5th Grade Student Kickball game for the first time in history!!

Friday – School Spirit Day!! Wear a school t-shirt or red, back and white.
Mr. Burns has given permission to wear hats on Tuesday, but all other clothing must follow the county dress code (no short shorts, spaghetti straps, etc.).
Wednesday, June 11th @ 3:00 PM – CMES PTO General Membership Meeting – All PTO members are invited to a quick meeting to approve the 2014-2015 PTO operating budget.
Friday, June 13th – Wednesday, June 18th – 2 Hour Early Dismissal
Tuesday, June 17th @ 6:00 PM – 5th Grade Promotion – Students need to arrive at 5:30 PM.
Wednesday, June 18th – Last Day of School
~~ Announcements ~~
Operation Read – The Operation Read book program has ended for the year. Please return all bags and loose books as soon as possible.
Playground Committee – The county has proposed a plan for the new playground. The CMES PTO is forming a playground committee to investigate and discuss possible upgrades and/or additions to their plans. If you are interested in joining, contact Kathleen Parlett at email@example.com.
Transferring Students – If you are moving over the summer and your child will not be returning to CMES for the 2014-2015 school year, please contact Mrs. Rostad in the main office at 410-721-9453 so that transfer papers can be prepared. You will need these transfer papers in order to enroll your child in their new school.
